Man as Sanctuary

As a man, my aspiration is to be a sanctuary for the woman beside me. Should she struggle or feel overwhelmed, I hope she finds solace and renewed energy in my presence. To achieve this, I must first cultivate self-awareness and become a sanctuary for myself. When feeling overwhelmed, recognizing it and practicing self-care is crucial, as well as communicating my needs to those around me to avoid misunderstandings.

Upon establishing this foundation, I can extend my sanctuary to her and others. She should always come willingly, without coercion, and find patience, gentleness, clarity, and peace within my shelter. Through physical contact and intimacy, she will reconnect with herself and ultimately leave revitalized and clear-minded.

The individuals we encounter are not mere accidents; they reflect the inner work we’ve undertaken.
