The eery Silence of Sofia

I’m in Sofia in Bulgaria now and life feels completely different.

I haven’t written in a while, because after a pretty challenging transfer-time at the Istanbul-Airport filled with 30 hours of wandering around and sleeping on the floor I actually (unsurprisingly) got sick for a couple of days.

Clara is with me now and we have deeper talks on a regular basis. They help me to understand myself better and I have always enjoyed that.

Sofia itself feels very magical to me. This huge city is eerily silent in places where other cities would be loud. There are open places, filled with people and everyone seems to whisper.

I don’t know why that is, but I think it’s a city with one of the the most interesting shades of magic I have found so far. And I can’t wait to explore it by night.
